How long does the turf last?
Synthetic turf is designed to last for up to 20 years with proper maintenance.
Synthetic turf requires very little maintenance compared to natural grass. Every turf product will have different care instructions depending on the material and type.
Artificial turf is made of plastic, so there are a few days out of the year where it will become hot. We suggest the T-Cool product we offer; an antimicrobial solution that works by absorbing the heat and keeping the turf fresh. All you have to do is spray the turf down with a hose and it will stay cool for up to 4 days!
Many people are worried about the different materials used when installing synthetic turf. Our turf is environmentally friendly and made with safety in mind. From playgrounds to pets, we trust the materials we choose.
The price of our turf installation varies depending on the size of area, the location, and the type you choose to buy. We try to keep our prices low without sacrificing quality. The best way to get an accurate price is to contact us directly for a free quote.
When it comes to installing synthetic grass for your project there are a number of factors that contribute to how long it will take.
  • Size of your artificial turf project: because we do not have minimum or maximum project sizes, the size of your project will play a role in determining how long your installation process will take
  • Scope of work: each artificial turf project is different, and this will definitely be a factor in your installation time frame.
  • Removal: Your installation will include removing whatever is on the ground now, and some landscaping can take longer to remove than others. For instance, if you just have dirt on the ground that won’t take too long, while removing concrete slabs will take a bit longer. If you’d like to have bushes and trees removed, we do that too!
  • Accessibility: While front and backyards are a popular installation for Ultra Turf, so to are rooftops and unique areas that feature numerous levels and stairs and can contribute to additional installation days for your project.
  • Style of project: If you are considering a Custom Putting Green by Turf & Sons or a uniquely shaped space, this can take extra time and preparation.
